SENDAI finds its inspiration in traditional Indian fabric techniques, where colours melt into one another to create gradients of great delicacy. These tie-dye effects, imprinted with artisanal gestures, have been reinterpreted here with a contemporary gaze. Rather than faithfully reproducing these motifs, the design strives to capture their essence: the fluid transition of hues, the sensation of movement, the poetry of color passages. In SENDAI, every nuance is placed with care to create a composition that is both mastered and open, offering a subtle balance between spontaneity and structure. The gradients, worked in large flat tints, give the rug a modern character without ever breaking with the softness of its original inspiration. The sobriety of the motif, combined with this exploration of colour, confers a discreet elegance. The result is a rug that integrates naturally into contemporary interiors: streamlined enough to let the space breathe, yet bearing a visual identity that brings depth and warmth.

We ship across Canada.
If you are shipping to a remote or rural location, please be advised additional delivery fees may apply. We will contact you with an estimate after your order is placed. Please contact us prior to placing your order should you have any questions or concerns.
Order tracking
In stock products at our warehouse ship within 2-4 weeks of receiving your order, unless otherwise specified. We strive to have all in stock products shipped as quickly as possible.
Custom & Made-to-order Items or Products
Many of our large furniture pieces and artwork are custom or made to order. For estimated shipping timelines please refer to our product pages on our website www.homestorydesigns.ca. Due to their custom nature, all made to order pieces are final sale.
