A Message from Robin & Donna
Our journey began in the halls of one of Canada’s only three CIDA-accredited universities, where we found ourselves in an exclusive interior design program.
What started as a shared educational experience quickly blossomed into a rich tapestry of friendship, collaboration, and mentorship as we navigated our separate design paths.
Collectively, our careers have been immersed in corporate and hospitality design. Although that was our primary focus, we naturally found our passion for residential projects while designing for the presidents and CEOs of the companies we worked for.
Being trusted with those spaces was where we truly thrived, pouring our hearts into creating homes that reflect the unique stories of those who inhabit them. This realization ignited a desire to build something more personal. Something that resonates on a deeper level. Home Story Designs.

Robin, A Jack of All Trades
Originally from Connecticut, Robin has a passion for historical architecture, despite her love for modern design. Her dream apart from this one? Restoring a century-old home, where she can blend contemporary elements with timeless charm.
Outside the realm of interiors, Robin enjoys indulging in hobbies like pottery and gardening. A self-proclaimed jack of all trades, she has an eye for recognizing good ideas and excels at problem-solving, always asking the right questions to arrive at achievable solutions. Each project presents an exciting opportunity for growth, and she dives in with a heart full of enthusiasm.
In her humble opinion, every room deserves a black lab. For Robin, these loyal companions embody the warmth and joy that every home should radiate, making them the perfect finishing touch to any space.
Donna, A True People-Reader
Meet Donna, a creative in pursuit of perfection. With a love for painting and a knack for expressing herself through art, she finds joy in every brushstroke and colour choice.
For years, Donna has envisioned launching a quaint residential design studio and décor shop, and she’s thrilled to finally make it a reality.
With a strong belief in the traditions of etiquette, she understands the importance of creating warm, inviting spaces that tell the stories of those who live in them.
A true people-reader, Donna possesses a natural talent for recognizing the strengths of those around her, making collaboration an integral and fulfilling part of her process.
